Dream Fencing with Susannah Gill
When betting company Betfair were searching for an employee to take on a sporting challenge for charity, Susannah Gill volunteered immediately. Having previously run marathons she was looking to take her fundraising to a new level. She decided the solution was Gold Challenge, but not just any challenge, the Ultimate Challenge!
The Vauxhall resident is taking on 5 demanding Olympic tests of endurance. She has already completed the London Marathon, the South East Region Modern Pentathlon and the 100Km Trail Walker and is scheduled to take on the London Triathlon on 31 July and the gruelling Dart 10km Open Water Swim on 3 September. It is no wonder then that her colleagues have nick named her the 'Iron Lady'.

Having set an ambitious fundraising target of £2,500 Susannah is close to half way towards her goal and hopes to raise even more! Her employers Betfair have agreed to match her eventual total taking her estimated target to £5000, an amount that will make a world of difference to Prostate Cancer Patients in the UK.
Susannah is an extreme example of what can be achieved when we push our limits and really stretch ourselves. For the Iron Lady that's tackling endurance events, for others it may be simply learning new sports through the multi-sport challenge or getting more active by taking the 2012km challenge. Whatever your preference Gold Challenge will help you feel more a part of the 2012 games then you ever imagined!
