Award for Dream Fencing Club
Dream Fencing Club was again invited to put on a fencing display to entertain the audience and judges of the Surrey Local Sports Awards, for the Tandridge Trust, at de Stafford Sports Centre on Sunday 13th October.
Three of our young fencers from our Caterham club, Lily, Paola, and Viltord fought several fast and furious short fights to everyone’s enjoyment . This was followed by a fourth fencer, Patricia Kiy and Yosif Angelinov giving a short demonstration of a lesson.
The afternoon came to a triumphant conclusion when Yosif won the Sports Personality of the Year award, to cheers from the Dream Fencing contingent.
