Irish National Fencing Epee Championships

After a shaky start in the poules, and using a borrowed épée as her own epee's had yet to arrive, Kerrie went into the DE ranked 3rd on the Irish National Fencing Epee Championships.

She fought well and came through the DE to meet Charlotte Slater in the semi-final. Charlotte had beaten her in the poule but this time Kerrie got the better of her and won 15-11.

In the fencing epee final, Kerrie stepped up to face Claire McGinnity. From the outset the fight was very intense, with both girls showing grit and determination. However, Kerrie found her feet, fought a good tactical fight and came out on top to win 15-8.

Really well done Kerrie, everyone at Dream Fencing is delighted for you.
